Metrix-Secure #66405 EVA Legless Bag with Male Screw Connector - 250ml, 50 Per/Cs
The Metrix-Secure #66405 EVA Legless Bag with Male Screw Connector is engineered for secure, small-volume fluid and medication delivery. Each bag offers a 250ml capacity and comes in a case of 50, making it a smart choice for pharmacy compounding, additives, and components used in specialized infusion therapy.
Constructed from Class VI Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) monolayer copolymer film, these legless bags provide excellent seal integrity, flexibility, and resistance to cracks and pinholes—qualities essential for parenteral applications. The male screw connector with female threads is designed to interface reliably with a wide range of compounding and gravity filling systems, helping maintain a leak-resistant, secure connection during filling and administration.
Storage recommendation: To preserve material integrity, EVA bags should be stored below 40°C and kept away from direct sunlight, high heat, and excessive humidity.
DEHP advisory: In line with Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice, DEHP-free administration sets are recommended when delivering lipid-based infusates (such as IVFE or TNA), as DEHP may leach into solutions and is of particular concern in neonatal, pediatric, and long-term infusion patients.
